First Development Site



Please note, the information on this page refers to the original planning application that was submitted. The tenure breakdown for the First Development Site is currently as follows:

  • 348 homes for social rent including 54 extra care homes and 7 homes for adults with learning disabilities
  • 211 homes for shared ownership/shared equity
  • 235 homes for private sale
  • 48 homes for private rent
 
The detailed application for the First Development Site proposes the following development in a range of building types between three and 21 storeys:
  • 830 mixed tenure homes including:
    • 304 Target Rent homes
    • 102 Shared Ownership homes
    • 424 Private homes
    • 50 extra care
    • 7 homes for adults with learning disabilities
  • A community facility
  • Extensive new public open space.

This application is submitted alongside an application outline planning permission for the remainder of the Aylesbury estate and together, both applications propose the comprehensive redevelopment of the estate.

Planning Statement
This document provides background to the regeneration scheme and an explanation of the Applications. It also assesses the proposals against the relevant planning policy including the AAAP.

Design and Access Statement
The Design and Access Statement describes the vision and evolution of the design for the redevelopment of the estate. It explains the process so far in developing a comprehensive regeneration scheme for the Estate.

Environmental Statement
This document provides a full assessment of the environmental impact of the overall proposals. A non-technical summary of the Environmental Statement is also provided.
