We're collaborating with St Peter's Church and St Peter's School to bring a Christmas Wonderland to Walworth. The event will be held at St Peter's Church on Liverpool Grove on Wednesday 15 December.
To help you get in the festive spirit, there will be an affordable market featuring many of Walworth’s talented micro entrepreneurs, perfect for stocking up on Christmas gifts for your family and friends. There will also be carol singing from local schoolchildren, a DJ playing Christmas music, a raffle and a competition for best festive dress.
Father Andrew, Rector of St Peter’s, Walworth, said: “This is such a special time of year, and we’ve all had a really difficult time recently. So, it’s lovely to be hosting this Christmas Wonderland working in partnership with Notting Hill Genesis, our friend John Whelan, and so many local people and groups! It’s gonna be fab! Come and have some festive fun!”
And Grace Cleary, Programme Manager for Enterprise & Interim Use at Notting Hill Genesis added, “We’re thrilled to collaborate with St Peter’s Church and St Peter’s School to bring ‘Christmas Wonderland’ to the Walworth community. In particular it’s an opportunity to showcase some fantastic local businesses and for us to celebrate Christmas together as a community.”
