The latest round of Notting Hill Housing’s Aylesbury Community Grants Programme is now open, helping groups improve the lives of people living in the area.

Local groups interested in running events or projects can apply for small grants of up to £500 (Level 1) and larger grants of up to £1,500 (Level 2).

Applicants must be able to show that at least 75 per cent of those benefitting from the grant are from the Aylesbury.

Meghan Doyle, Head of Community Investment for Notting Hill Housing, said: "We are delighted to be launching the next round of Community Grants to support local groups to run projects and activities to benefit Aylesbury residents.

"The first three rounds have supported a wide array of different groups to make a real difference to their local community and have included projects such as an intergenerational arts project, upgrades to a local youth facility and a children’s summer sports camp.

"For this fourth round, we are once again open to applications from a broad range of groups, but would also like to invite applications from groups interested in delivering activities over the holiday season.

Earlier rounds have supported projects including a resident-led community garden, an older people’s art project and a children’s multisport camp.

The closing date for applications is Friday 28 October. Visit our New Opportunities page and choose Community Grants Programme - 4th round for more information or to download the application forms and guidance notes.
