Summer Programme

Thanks to everyone who was part of our young people’s summer programme this year.  As is customary, it featured local talented artists and creatives, including Harriet Mena Hill and Abi’s Creative Zone.  We also welcomed back Hannah Cushion who is well known on the Aylesbury.

As always, the programme was fully booked and in total we had 46 unique participants, totalling 186 attendances.  Highlights were jewellery making, fabric handicrafts, making jigsaws and home furnishings.  23 young people also took part in the latest resident survey and were supported to share their experiences of living in this area.

Young person, Joy said "I really like the summer programme because we did a lot of crafts, and you get to take what you made home.  I love the summer programme so so much and I can't wait until next year.“

On behalf of NHG, Chris Cotton said ‘Our summer programme strives to teach young people important skills whilst having fun and making friends.  Over the years, I have never ceased to be amazed by the talent and achievements of young people on the Aylesbury.’

Here is a selection of their photos for you to enjoy…
